Yesterday was my cousin Jay's funeral. It was good to see so many family members, unfortunately it was for a sad occasion. I am so impressed with Jay's wife, Marcie. She stood so strong and gave more comfort to those around her, when we should have been the ones to give her comfort. The six children are testaments to Jay and Marcies parenting skills. As I think about how close I am to my father, even now as an adult, my heart breaks for the kids, especially Jeremy, who for the next two years, will be the lone man in the house. I am so glad for close family and friends. We love Jay and will miss him a lot.
