More Doctor Fun
Thursday night, we found some scaly dried blood behind one of DJ's ears. The Ear, Nose and Throat doc fit us into her tight schedule on Friday morning. She thinks that DJ got a staph infection from day care. She also looked at DJ'd goopy eyes and said that he has pinkeye. So along to Walmart we went for three prescriptions: an oral antibiotic, an antibiotic cream for behind his ear, and eye drops for his eyes. Since pinkeye is very contagious, the doc banned us from being around children until it clears up. So, until then, we will be confined to our house. Luckily, the snow makes it very pretty out our window....

Sorry about that! It stinks when you are quarantined. Kaylee was sick on Thursday and Friday so we were stuck at home too. Hopefully you had a good book!
We, also, know about the woes of sick kids. Madi has had a cold for a week and a half, and it has made sleeping at night quite a mizerable experience for her. So, that means Mommy doesn't sleep much either. She just gets so stuffed up that it is hard for her to breathe. She seems to be finally on the mend. We did take her in to the Dr's yesterday to get the first of her monthly RSV shots. The Dr did a check-up on her and said that she is doing remarkably well, so that was good news. It's always nice to hear the good news.
I hope DJ gets well soon, we're dying to get together with you guys, if our kids would just stay well! Do you guys have plans for New Years, or should we plan our Annual Game Night?
